(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 23일, 자동차 배출가스 감소 및 미세먼지 저감을 위한 조기폐차 보조금 지원사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 2024년 사업 규모는 약 210억 원으로, 노후경유차 및 건설기계 약 6,100대에 대한 조기폐차 보조금을 지원할 계획이다.

조기폐차 보조금 지급 대상은 배출가스 4·5등급 경유차량, 2009년 8월 31일 이전 배출허용기준을 적용받고 제작된 도로용 3종 건설기계(덤프트럭, 콘크리트믹서트럭, 콘트리트펌프트럭), 2004년 이전 제작된 지게차 또는 굴착기다.

올해부터는 출고 당시 배출가스 저감장치(이하 DPF)가 부착된 4등급 경유차량까지 지원을 확대한다. 

단, 정부 지원을 받아 DPF를 부착했거나 저공해 엔진으로 개조한 차량은 대상에서 제외된다.

지원 금액은 보험개발원이 산정한 분기별 차량 가액을 기준으로 차종 및 연식에 따라 차등 지급한다. 

단 차량 소유자가 저소득층(기초생활수급자, 차상위계층) 혹은 소상공인인 경우 100만 원, 배출가스 5등급 차량 중 DPF 장착 불가 차량 보유자인 경우 차종에 따라 60~100만 원을 추가로 지급한다.

또한 조기폐차 후 저공해차량(배출가스 1~2등급 차량, 총중량 3.5톤 이상 차량 폐차 시 3등급 차량 일부 인정)을 구매하면 추가보조금을 지급한다.

신청 기간은 2월 28일부터 예산 소진시까지이며, 환경부 자동차 배출가스 종합전산시스템 홈페이지 회원가입 후 신청할 수 있다.
