(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) (재)인천서구문화재단이 오는 3월 6일까지 ‘2024년 인천서구 예술인지원사업’ 통합공모를 추진한다고 밝혔다.

문화재단에 따르면,  인천 서구 ‘예술인지원사업’은 인천 서구지역 예술인들에게 창작발표 기회를 제공하고, 창작환경 개선을 위한 지원 등을 통해 지역예술가들의 창작활동을 지원하고, 신규예술인을 발굴하는 것을 목표로 하는 사업이다. 

이번 2024년 예술인지원사업은 실효성 있는 직·간접적인 창작지원과 보다 많은 예술인들을 지원하기 위해, 예술가활동, 창작공간활성화, 아트페어활성화 등 총 3가지 분야 6가지 세부사업으로 다각화·세분화되어 추진된다. 

우선 예술가들의 창작활동 발표기회를 지원하는 예술가활동지원사업은 신규 청년예술인들을 대상으로 청년 부문, 기존 보유 작품을 시연, 재연하는 발전 부문, 신규 창작작품을 초연하는  창작 부문으로 세분화되어 진행된다.

다음으로 예술인들의 창작공간을 지원하는 창작공간활성화지원사업은 기존 서구 관내의 공간을 임차하여 사용중인 창작공간(작업실, 공방 등)의 임차료를 50%(매월 최대 50만원) 지원하는 임차료 지원 사업, 작업실을 보유하지 않은 예술인들의 창작공간을 지원하는 레지던시 입주지원사업으로 구분하여 공백없는 예술인들의 창작공간 지원을 추진한다. 

마지막으로 시각예술 작가들의 작품판매 활성화를 위한 아트페어활성화지원사업 은 인천 서구의 아트페어를 활성화 시키고, 아트페어에 참여한 작가들의 작품가액 50%(최대 50만원)를 지원하여, 실질적인 작품판매로 작가들의 창작의욕를 고취시키기 위해 추진된다.
