(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 오는 26일부터 2024 ‘공동주택 LED 교체 지원사업’을 시작한다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이는 지역 내 공동주택 지하주차장의 기존 형광등을 고효율 LED로 교체 시 공사비의 일부를 지원하는 사업으로 에너지 효율 향상 및 에너지 절약 극대화를 위해 진행한다.

부평구는 지난해부터 한국전력공사의 ‘효율향상사업 LED’와 연계하여 관련 사업을 추진하고 있다. 

지난해의 경우 이 사업을 통해 공동주택 1개소에 LED 2천652개 교체를 지원했다. 

이로 인해 1천135MWh(메가와트시)의 에너지 절감으로 연간 약 1억 8천만원의 전기 요금 절감이 예상되고, 온실가스 520톤 저감으로 1년 간 소나무 약 8만 그루를 심는 효과를 낼 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

이와 관련, 구는 올해에도 지역 내 공동주택 약 4개소에 LED 약 2천여 개의 보급지원을 추진한다는 방침이다.

부평구의 지원 금액은 절감 전력량에 따라 지원 금액이 달라진다. 

조명기기 교체에 따른 절감 전력(kW)당 7만7천원으로 산정해 지급한며 한국전력공사의 지원금은 구와 동일한 산출방법에 따라 산정하여 자체 지급한다.

지원 대상은 한국전력공사의 ‘2024년 효율향상사업 LED 지원사업’에 참여한 부평구 소재 공동주택 중, 기존 조명기기(형광등)를 고효율 LED로 교체하고자 하는 공동주택이다. 

교체 대상 조명으로는 공용으로 사용하는 지하주차장 조명, 건축물의 유도등 및 복도등이 해당하며 개별 세대 내 조명기기 교체는 지원 대상에서 제외된다.
