(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 9일, 임신을 희망하는 부부의 경제적 부담을 줄이고 신속한 임신·출산을 돕기 위해 ‘냉동난자 사용 보조생식술’ 비용 일부를 지원한다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, ‘냉동난자 사용 보조생식술’은 가임력 보존을 위해 미리 냉동 보관해 둔 난자를 임신을 원할 때 사용하는 의료 시술이다. 만혼이 증가함에 따라 냉동난자 시술이 크게 증가하고 있다.

이에 부평구는 올해 4월 이후 냉동 난자를 사용해 임신과 출산을 시도한 부부에게 최대 2회씩, 회당 100만원까지 보조생식술 비용을 지원한다.

지원 항목은 냉동난자 해동, 정자채취, 수정 및 확인, 배아 배양 및 관찰, 배아이식, 시술 후 단계 검사비 등이다. 

단, 난임 진단을 받은 경우에는 난자 해동 비용만 지원받을 수 있으며, 나머지 비용은 ‘난임부부 시술비 지원사업’과 연계 지원된다.
