(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 오는 12일부터 13일까지 수도권매립지 내 드림파크 야생화단지 일원에서 ‘2024 인천서구 업사이클 페스티벌’과 ‘자원순환 박람회’를 개최한다고  밝혔다. 

서구에 따르면, 행사는 인천시와 서구가 공동 주최하고 서구문화재단 주관으로 열리며 지속 가능한 소비와 업사이클링의 중요성을 알리고 다양한 프로그램을 통해 환경보호의 필요성을 강조하는 자리이다.

업사이클 페스티벌은 “내가 사는 서구, 내가 쓰는 지구”라는 주제로 작년에 이어 올해 두 번째로 개최되며, 행사장엔 유관 기관 및 친환경 기업 홍보관, 업사이클 체험과 놀이 부스, 업사이클 플리마켓존, 업사이클 체험존 등이 진행된다. 

이와 함께 12일 쥴리안 퀸타르트, 13일 곽재식 교수와 함께하는 친환경 토크콘서트도 준비되어 있다.

12일 오후 1시 인천서구립풍물단의 축하공연을 시작으로 대중 가수 공연(12일 밴드 악퉁과 재주소년, 옥상달빛, 13일 뮤라이즌, 김나희, 디에이드, 손태진)은 메인무대에서 진행된다.

또, 올해는 행사 규모를 확대하여 “다시 보고 새로 쓰는 자원순환 행복순환”이라는 주제로 자원순환박람회도 함께 열리며, 자원순환박람회 사전행사로 진행된 포스터 공모전의 우수 당선작 시상식과 전시회도 열릴 예정이다. 

아울러 자원순환 기업부스, 자원순환 공연 등 다양한 프로그램이 마련된다.
