(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천창조경제혁신센터(이하 인천센터)기 11일, 투자기업 퀘이자㈜(대표자 김명현)가 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 팁스(TIPS) 프로그램에 최종 선정됐다고 발표했다. 

인천센터에 따르면, 팁스는 기술력을 갖춘 스타트업의 발굴과 육성을 목적으로 정부와 민간이 협력하여 추진하는 기술창업지원 프로그램이다. 

민간이 기업에 초기 투자를 진행하면 중기부가 연구개발(R&D) 자금 등을 지원한다.

프로그램에 선정된 퀘이자㈜는 앞으로 2년간 연구개발 및 마케팅 등을 위해 중기부로부터 최대 5억 원을 지원 받을 수 있게 됐다. 

이는 인천시의 지원으로 조성하고, 인천센터와 뉴본벤처스가 함께 운용하는 인천창경뉴본 투자조합 제 1호를 바탕으로 투자와 팁스 운영사인 인천센터의 추천이 큰 역할을 했다.

퀘이자㈜는 다년간 쌓아온 명품 감정 인프라와 인공지능 기술을 기반으로 소형 세밀화된 객체 탐지 모델과 감정 식별포인트에 최적화된 MoE(Mixture of Experts, 전문가 혼합 모델)를 통해 고도화된 인공지능 모델로 정가품 분석을 실시간으로 해결하는 솔루션이다. 

퀘이자㈜는 국내 표준화된 명품 감정 기술이 없고, 온라인 구매 비중이 높아 가품 피해 규모가 커지고 있어 이를 해결하기 위해 해외 공인된 명품 감정 기술 교류와 빠르게 발전하는 고성능모델 기반을 통해 최적화된 인공지능 모델을 구축하는 중이다. 

가품에 특화된 데이터 시스템을 통해 A급 이상 가품에 대응하며, 유명 백화점, 대형 플랫폼에서 POC를 진행하면서 기술력을 인정받았고, 각 사업군에 맞는 최적화된 AI 솔루션으로 확장하고 있다.  

퀘이자㈜의 김명현 대표는 “명품 유통의 투명하고 믿을 수 있는 구조를 위해 퀘이자가 보유한 혁신역량으로 믿을 수 있는 IP 생태계를 만드는 것” 이라는 포부를 밝혔다. 

퀘이자㈜에 투자한 인천센터 이한섭 센터장은 “퀘이자㈜의 팁스 선정은 정‧가품 진단 솔루션 개발 역량을 인정받은 성과이며, 인천센터는 글로벌 진출 및 후속투자를 위하여 적극적으로 지원하겠다.” 고 말했다.
