(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 국민의힘 이달희 의원 ( 비례대표 )이 26 일 오전 8 시 국회의원회관 제 1 소회의실에서 '지방시대 , 지속 가능한 성장동력' 을 주제로 네 번째 국민의힘 초선의원 공부 모임을 개최했다고 밝혔다 .

이달희 원에 따르면, 이날 행사에는 한동훈 당대표 , 추경호 원내대표 , 김상훈 정책위의장 , 배준영 원내 수석부대표 등 주요 당 지도부가 대거 참석해 지방시대를 통한 분권과 지역균형발전의 중요성에 대해 높은 관심을 보였다 .

윤석열 정부 핵심 국정목표인 ‘ 대한민국 어디서나 살기 좋은 지방시대 ’ 홍보 영상 시청에 이어 진행된 특별 초청 강연은 ‘ 지방시대 , 지속가능 대한민국의 동력 ’ 을 주제로 대구대학교 최철영 교수가 맡아 인구감소와 수도권 과밀화 등으로 인한 국가경쟁력 저하를 타개하기 위한 대안으로 초광역 행정통합을 통한 분권과 균형발전의 필요성을 강조했다 .

최 교수는 “ 날로 심각해지고 있는 수도권 집중으로 인해 지방소멸이 가속화되고 있다 ” 고 지적하며 , “ 수도권 블랙홀에 맞설 거점 구축을 위해 수도권에 필적하는 지방자치단체를 만들어 분권과 균형발전을 선도할 필요가 있다 ” 고 전했다 .
