(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천계양소방서가 오는 12월 15일까지 화재위험성이 높은 물질을 제조ㆍ저장ㆍ취급하는 시설에 대한 화재예방 실태점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다. 

계양소방서에 따르면, 이번 점검은 겨울철 화재안전대책의 일환으로 겨울철 건조하고 추운 날씨에 정전기 발생 및 화기 사용으로 화재ㆍ폭발사고 위험요인이 증가할 것으로 예상됨에 따라 사고를 예방하고자 추진된다.

주요 점검대상은 주유취급소 6개소, 육가공업체 19개소, 무허가 위험물 및 불법용기 등 사용 의심 사업장 등이다.

주요 내용은 위험물 저장ㆍ취급기준 준수 여부, 주유취급소 위치ㆍ구조 및 설비 기준, 변경허가 위반 여부와 위험물안전관리자 선임 및 근무 실태 확인, 주유소 내 금연 및 난로 등 화기 취급 주의 홍보, 위험물 사고 예방 위한 안전관리 요령 지도 등이다.

김희곤 서장은 “화재는 한순간의 방심으로 큰 피해를 초래할 수 있다”며 “이번 점검을 통해 화재 위험 요소를 철저히 점검하고 개선해 지역사회의 안전을 확보하겠다”고 말했다.
