(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 지난 28일 구청 영상회의실에서 주요 구정사업에 대한 국·시비 재원 확보를 위한 ‘2025년 공모사업 추진 보고회’를 개최했다.
계양구에 따르면, 이번 보고회는 올해 추진된 공모사업의 분야별 실적을 점검하고, 내년도에 응모 가능한 공모사업 대응 전략 및 사업 추진 방향을 모색하기 위해 실시됐다.
계양구는 올해 초부터 최근 중앙부처와 인천시 공모사업에 대한 부서별 검토를 면밀하게 실시해 ‘계산동 일원 도시재생사업’ 등 22개 공모사업을 발굴했으며, 이번 보고회를 통해 심층 검토한 내용을 토대로 내년도 주요사업을 적극 추진할 계획이다.
한편, 계양구는 2024년에도 사업비 54억 원(국비 32억 원, 시비 22억 원)을 확보해 구민을 위한 특색 있는 사업들을 추진 중이다.
주요 공모사업으로는 계산삼거리 일원 스마트타운 조성, 무장애나눔길 조성, 시-군·구 상생일자리 지원, 특성화시장 육성, 계양아라온 빛의거리 조성 등이 있다.
윤환 구청장은 “국·시비 확보를 통해 지방재정 부담을 완화하고, 계양구 현안사업을 원활히 추진할 수 있도록 공모사업 선정을 위해 최선을 다해줄 것”을 당부했다.
