인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 전형으로 진학이 가능한 대학은 겐트대(인천글로벌캠퍼스), 한국조지메이슨대(인천글로벌캠퍼스), 산동대(중국), 호주테잎퀸즐랜드대, 인도네시아국립대, 국립대만대, 대만국립청화대, 한국뉴욕주립대(인천글로벌캠퍼스) 등 8개 대학이다.
겐트대와 한국뉴욕주립대는 미래글로벌인재장학금 전형으로 사회통합대상자(국민기초생활수급자, 법정차상위계층, 한부모가족지원대상자, 아동복지시설 재원자)에게 입학 기회를 제공한다.
신청은 12월 27일까지 각 고등학교에서 공문으로 접수하며, 인천시교육청은 1월 초 자체 심사를 거쳐 선발된 학생을 해당 대학에 추천한다.
단, 한국뉴욕주립대 미래 글로벌 인재 장학금 전형은 12월 20일에 마감된다.
인천시교육청 관계자는“해외대학 진학에 관심이 높아지는 가운데, 교육감 추천 전형이 학생들이 진로를 찾는데 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 2nd that it will conduct the Incheon Metropolitan City Superintendent of Education recommendation process for overseas universities for 2025 school year.

However, the Korea SUNY Korea Future Global Talent Scholarship process closes on December 20.
