(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 2일, 차준택 부평구청장이 지난 11월 29일 대설·한파로 인한 피해를 방지하기 위한 현장점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이날 차준택 구청장은 지역 내 주요 방재시설인 자동제설장비(염수분사장치)가 있는 효성고가교에 방문해, 자동제설장비 작동여부를 확인했다.

또, 대규모 주택건설 현장인 산곡구역 재개발현장을 방문해 겨울철 건설 현장의 안전사고 위험요소 중 인근 초등학교의 통학로 안전확보 대책 등을 점검했다.

차준택 구청장은 “겨울철 각종 재난 및 사고 예방을 위해서는 지방자치단체의 철저한 대비가 중요하다”며 “그와 더불어 구민분들 각자가 일상생활 속에서 위험 요인을 스스로 점검·관리할 수 있도록 안전에 관심을 갖는 것도 중요하다”고 말했다.

이어 “구민들께서도 내 집, 내 점포 앞 눈 치우기는 물론 대설·한파 시 국민행동요령을 숙지해 겨울철 안전관리에 동참해 달라”고 덧붙였다.

한편, 부평구는 구민들의 겨울철 자연 재난 대비를 위해 한파쉼터 55곳, 안심숙소 6곳 및 버스정류장에 온열의자 105개, 바람막이 44개 등 한파 저감시설을 운영하고 있다. 이와 관련, 주민 대상 자연재난 행동요령 홍보 캠페인 등도 실시해 나갈 예정이다.
