(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천장애인부모연대 계양지회가 12월 4일까지 계양구청 1층 계양아트갤러리에서 중증장애인 맞춤형 복지일자리 미술 전시회 ‘꿈꾸는 달팽이 작품전시회’를 진행한다고 밝혔다.

지회에 따르면, 이번 전시회에서는 조희경, 신성철, 강준구, 이재열 등 청년 발달장애인 미술활동가가 그린 48여 점의 작품을 선보인다.

이들 미술활동가는 인천시와 계양구에서 지원하는 ‘중증장애인 맞춤형 복지일자리 사업’의 참여자이다. 

2022년도부터 시행된 ‘중증장애인 맞춤형 복지일자리’는 기존 공공일자리에 참여가 어려운 중증장애인들에게 근로 기회를 제공하고 지역사회의 구성원으로서 자립을 도모하는 일자리 사업이다. 

3일 전시회를 찾은 윤환 계양구청장은 “인천장애인부모연대 계양구지회가 3년 연속 중증장애인 맞춤형 복지일자리 사업기관으로 선정되어 발달장애인들이 점점 발전하며 꿈과 열정을 보여줄 수 있는 자리를 마련한 것을 축하드린다.”라며 “앞으로도 장애인 복지증진과 사회통합을 위해 적극 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.

Incheon Parents’ Association for the Disabled, Gyeyang Branch announced that it will hold the ‘Dreaming Snail Art Exhibition’, a customized welfare job art exhibition for the severely disabled, at the Gyeyang Art Gallery on the first floor of Gyeyang-gu Office until December 4.

According to the branch, this exhibition will showcase approximately 48 works by young developmentally disabled art activists, including Jo Hee-kyung, Shin Seong-cheol, Kang Jun-gu, and Lee Jae-yeol.

These art activists are participants in the ‘Customized Welfare Job Project for the Severely Disabled’ supported by Incheon City and Gyeyang-gu.

The 'Customized Welfare Jobs for the Severely Disabled', which has been implemented since 2022, is a job project that provides job opportunities to the severely disabled who have difficulty participating in existing public jobs and promotes self-reliance as a member of the local community.

Yoon Hwan, the mayor of Gyeyang-gu, who visited the exhibition on the 3rd, said, "I congratulate the Gyeyang-gu branch of the Incheon Parents' Association for the Disabled for being selected as a customized welfare job project organization for the severely disabled for three consecutive years, providing a place for the developmentally disabled to develop and show their dreams and passion."
