(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 한국농수산식품유통공사(이하 aT)가 9일, ‘농식품바우처 플랫폼’ 누리집이 국제표준화기구(ISO)의정보보안경영시스템(ISO 27001)과 개인정보보호경영시스템(ISO 27701) 인증을 동시에 획득했다고 밝혔다.

aT에 따르면, ISO 27001은 정보보안 분야에서 가장 권위 있는 국제 표준으로, 정보 자산의 기밀성, 무결성, 가용성을 보장하는 체계적 관리시스템을 갖춘 경우 부여된다. 

ISO 27701은 개인정보보호 관리 절차가 유럽의 개인정보보호법(GDPR) 등 국제적 요구사항을 충족할 경우 부여되는 인증이다.

최근 개인정보 보호에 대한 사회적 관심이 높아지는 가운데, 이번 동시 인증 획득은 농식품바우처 플랫폼이 정보보안과 개인정보 보호에 대해 국제적 수준의 관리 체계를 구축해 운영하고 있음을 공인받았다는 점에서 의미가 크다. 

이번 인증을 계기로 플랫폼 이용자들이 느끼는 신뢰도가 한층 높아질 것으로 기대된다.

김창국 부사장은 "이용자의 정보 관리에 대한 중요성은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않는다"며, "이번 ISO 국제 인증 동시 획득을 계기로 최고 수준의 정보보안과 개인정보보호 체계를 유지해 국민이 신뢰할 수 있는 공공기관으로 자리매김하겠다“ 고 말했다.

한편,  aT는 취약계층의 식품 접근성 강화와 지속가능한 농식품 소비체계 구축을 위해 농식품바우처 플랫폼을 운영하고 있다.

On the 9th, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (hereinafter aT) announced that its 'Agricultural and Food Voucher Platform' website simultaneously acquired the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISO 27701) certifications.

According to aT, ISO 27001 is the most authoritative international standard in the field of information security, and is awarded when a systematic management system is in place to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

ISO 27701 is a certification granted when personal information protection management procedures meet international requirements such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Amidst the recent increase in social interest in personal information protection, this simultaneous certification is significant in that it recognizes that the Agricultural and Food Voucher Platform has established and is operating an international-level management system for information security and personal information protection.

This certification is expected to further increase the level of trust felt by platform users.
