(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 16일, 청년미디어타워에서 박종효 남동구청장과 청년도전지원사업 참여자들이 함께하는‘청청토크’를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

남동구에 따르면,‘청년 도전 지원사업’은 장기간 구직에 어려움을 겪는 청년들이 포기하지 않고 자신감과 의욕을 회복할 수 있도록 ‘맞춤형 프로그램’을 제공, 경제활동 참여와 노동시장 복귀를 지원하는 사업이다.

이번 행사는‘청년도전지원사업’에 참여하는 청년들을 격려하고, 취업 문제 등 각종 고민과 의견을 나누기 위해 마련됐다.

이 자리에선 청년의 일자리, 주거, 문화예술 등 다양한 주제에 대해 진솔한 대화가 오갔다.

특히, 남동구 내의 양질의 다양한 직종의 일자리 환경조성, 청년 주거 문제 개선 및 저출산 극복,  대기업과 중소기업 간 임금 격차 감소방안 등 다양한 이야기들을 나누며 정책추진 방향과 현실적 한계에 대해 공유했다.

박종효 남동구청장은“청년들이 체감하는 어려움을 직접 듣고, 정책에 반영하기 위한 자리를 마련하게 되었다”며 “앞으로도 청년들과의 소통을 통해 현장감 있는 정책을 만들어나가겠다”고 말했다.
