(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 오는 7월 31일까지 ‘2026년 본예산 편성을 위한 계양구 주민참여예산 제안사업 집중 공모를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

계양구에 따르면, ‘주민참여예산’은 주민이 직접 예산편성 과정에 참여해 재정 운영의 투명성을 높이고 재정 민주주의를 실현하기 위한 제도이다. 계양구민, 관내 기관·단체 및 사업장 소속자 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

공모 대상은 구민 다수의 편익 향상을 위한 공공성 있는 사업이다. 

단, 인건비 및 법정경비 등 경직성 경비, 특정 단체를 지원하는 사업, 선심성 사업 등은 제외된다.

공모 신청은 계양구 주민e참여 누리집, 우편, 팩스 등 다양한 방법으로 할 수 있다. 

접수된 사업은 사업 부서 검토 후 주민참여예산위원회의 심의조정을 통해 최종 선정되며, 향후 2026년도 본예산에 반영될 예정이다. 

또한, 계양구가 17일, 지역 문화사절단 역할을 수행할 구립예술단(풍물단, 여성합창단, 소년소녀합창단)의 신규 단원을 모집한다고 밝혔다.  

계양구에 따르면, 풍물단과 여성합창단은 20세 이상 64세 이하로, 계양구에 거주하거나 지역 소재 직장에 다니는 사람은 누구나 지원할 수 있으며, 풍물단은 거주 요건을 인천시 전역으로 확대해 모집한다. 

소년소녀합창단은 7세 이상 18세 이하로, 계양구 거주자 또는 지역 소재 초중고 재학생이 대상이다. 

모집 기간은 6월 20일부터 7월 4일까지이며, 계양구청 문화체육관광과로 방문해 신청하거나 담당자 이메일로 신청할 수 있다.

모집 전형은 1차 서류심사, 2차 실기 및 면접 심사로 진행되며, 실기 및 면접은 여성합창단 7월 9일 오전 11시, 소년소녀합창단 7월 12일 오전 11시, 풍물단 7월 15일 오후 2시에 각각 실시된다.

Gyeyang-gu announced that it will hold a 'Gyeyang-gu Resident Participation Budget Proposal Project Competition for the 2026 Main Budget' until July 31.

According to Gyeyang-gu, the 'Resident Participation Budget' is a system for residents to directly participate in the budget preparation process, thereby increasing the transparency of financial management and realizing financial democracy. Anyone who is a Gyeyang-gu resident, an organization, or a business affiliated with the district can participate.

The competition target is a public project that improves the convenience of the majority of residents.

However, rigid expenses such as labor costs and legal expenses, projects supporting specific groups, and charity projects are excluded.

Applications for the contest can be made through various methods such as the Gyeyang-gu Residents' e-Participation website, mail, and fax.

The submitted projects will be reviewed by the business department and then selected through deliberation and coordination by the Residents' Participation Budget Committee, and will be reflected in the 2026 main budget.

In addition, Gyeyang-gu announced on the 17th that it is recruiting new members for the district art troupe (Pungmuldan, Women's Choir, Boys and Girls Choir) that will serve as regional cultural ambassadors.

According to Gyeyang-gu, the Pungmuldan and Women's Choir are open to anyone aged 20 to 64 who lives in Gyeyang-gu or works in the area, while the Pungmuldan is recruiting by expanding the residency requirement to the entire city of Incheon.

The Boys and Girls Choir is open to anyone aged 7 to 18 who lives in Gyeyang-gu or is a student attending elementary, middle, or high school in the area.
