직업계고에 관심 있는 중학교 학생과 학부모 및 교사를 대상으로 해마다 실시하던 직업교육 박람회를 코로나19로 인해 비대면 온라인 방식으로 진행한다.
박람회 홈페이지를 통해 학교 및 학과 안내, 학교 소개 영상과 토크콘서트, 직업교육 정책안내, 상담코너, 게임이벤트 등을 제공하고 있어 유용한 정보와 재미를 얻을 수 있다.
또한, 직업계고 학생들이 직접 진행하고 안내하는 실시간 TV 영상, 진로 전문가 특강 등을 언제든 볼 수 있으며, 기존의 랜선 박람회에서는 볼 수 없었던 실시간 스트리밍 방송을 24시간 송출하고 있다.
2020 인천 직업계고 랜선 박람회 홈페이지에는 하루 평균 3,000명에 가까운 방문자가 접속하고 있으며, 12월까지 정보를 계속 제공하여 직업계고에 대한 인식 및 이해의 폭을 넓히는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다.
도성훈 교육감은 “이번 박람회를 통해 중학생들이 고등학교 진로를 선택하는데 많은 도움이 될 것”이라며 “직업교육은 미래교육의 커다란 물줄기로 미래지향적 인천형 직업교육을 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
