Bupyeong-gu, operates a one-on-one online customized education'Dang Daengi School'
First-come-first-served basis for 150 families from the 26th
(Break News Incheon Reporter Sang-do Park) Bupyeong-gu is running the “Bupyeong-gu Daengdaengi School,” a one-on-one online customized education.
Bupyeong-gu is the first autonomous district in Incheon to operate a ‘companion animal culture class’ since 2017, and last year, it has provided basic education necessary for breeding dogs and customized education for problem behavior correction, resulting in high satisfaction from participants.
Recently, as the time to stay at home is prolonged due to Corona 19 and the number of people raising companion animals increases, complaints related to dog bites and noise are increasing.
Accordingly, Bupyeong-gu considers the COVID-19 quarantine situation as the most necessary contents in life with dogs, such as basic education for domestic dogs, toilet education and walking education, socialization education, and problem behavior correction education to help companions solve and understand problem behaviors of their dogs. Online education in a non-face-to-face manner has been established.
Education is conducted through online video conferencing system, ZOOM, through one-on-one individual consultation and then video-generated content, personalized education, and online clinic consultation.
Anyone can apply for participation from Bupyeong-gu with pets, and the application will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis (150 people) on the homepage of the “Bupyeong-gu Daengdaengi School”.
An official in Bupyeong-gu said, "I hope that many residents will be interested in and participate in making Bupyeong-gu happy for both residents and animals by creating a mature companion animal culture."
