자료에 따르면, 2021년 6월 15세이상인구는 254만 6천명으로 전년동월대비 3천명(0.1%) 증가했다.


경제활동인구는 164만 8천명으로 전년동월대비 0.2천명(0.0%) 감소하였고, 경제활동참가율은 64.7%로 전년동월대비 0.1%p 하락했다.


비경제활동인구는 89만 8천명으로 전년동월대비 3천명(0.3%) 증가했다.


비경제활동인구를 성별로 보면, 남자는 31만 8천명으로 전년동월대비 1천명(-0.2%) 감소한 반면, 여자는 58만명으로 전년동월대비 4천명(0.6%) 증가했다.


2021년 6월 취업자는 157만 8천명으로 전년동월대비 1만 2천명(0.8%) 증가했다.
 

성별로 보면, 남자는 89만 7천명으로 전년동월대비 7천명(0.8%), 여자는 68만 1천명으로 전년동월대비 5천명(0.8%) 각각 증가했다.

 
산업별로는 전년동월대비 도소매․숙박음식점업 2만명(-6.0%), 제조업 1만 9천명(-5.7%) 각각 감소한 반면, 전기․운수․통신․금융업 2만 3천명(10.7%), 사업․개인․공공서비스 및 기타 1만 5천명(2.7%), 건설업 1만 3천명(11.5%) 각각 증가했다.


직업별로 보면, 전년동월대비 서비스․판매종사자 2만 8천명(-7.5%), 사무종사자 2만 2천명(-7.5%) 각각 감소한 반면, 기능․기계조작․조립․단순종사자 5만 4천명(9.0%), 관리자․전문가 7천명(2.5%) 각각 증가했다.


종사상 지위별로 보면, 임금근로자는 128만 9천명, 비임금근로자는 28만 9천명으로 나타났다.


임금근로자는 전년동월대비 1만 5천명(1.2%) 증가했으며 이 중 임시근로자는 1만명(-2.9%) 감소한 반면, 일용근로자는 1만 3천명(16.8%), 상용근로자는 1만 2천명(1.3%) 각각 증가했다.


비임금근로자는 전년동월대비 3천명(-0.9%) 감소했으며, 이 중 무급가족종사자는 5천명(-17.5%) 감소한 반면, 자영업자는 3천명(1.0%) 증가했다.
