인천시는 올해 국비 11억 원을 확보, 18개 지구(4,852필지, 6,376천㎡)에 대한 조사를 추진할 예정이며, 10개 군·구와의 협업을 통해 다방면으로 노력한 결과 이다.

이번 조사는 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 온라인 주민설명회를 진행하고 있으며, 사업안내 홈페이지를 별도로 준비하는 등 비대면(Untact) 조사방식을 도입하기로 했다.

지적재조사를 통해 구축된 디지털지적은 정밀도가 높아 경계분쟁이 발생하지 않고, 디지털트윈, 자율주행차, 사물인터넷 등 4차 산업혁명과 관련된 신기술 활용의 주요 데이터베이스로 활용된다.

이에 인천시는 이번 사업을 ‘인천형 디지털 뉴딜’사업으로 선정하고 적극적인 관리와 국비 확보를 통해 사업을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 예정이다.

지대환 시 토지정보과장은 “코로나19로 대면서비스가 지양되는 만큼 시민들이 지적재조사에 관한 정보를 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 다양한 행정서비스를 계획 중”이며, “사업이 성공적으로 완료될 수 있도록 토지소유자의 적극적인 관심과 협조를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

한편, 인천시는 현재 4년 연속으로 지적재조사사업 실적 전국 1위를 기록하고 있다.
