(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 5월 청소년의 달을 맞아 청소년의 건전한 육성과 올바른 청소년 상 정립을 위해 모범 청소년대상(大賞)을 선정했다.

인천시는 인천시 교육청과 청소년 관련기관 및 단체에서 추천된 후보자에 대해 지난 4월 28일과 29일 이틀 동안 인천시 청소년육성위원회를 서면으로 개최하고, 대상･효행･선행･면학･예체능부문 5개 분야 5명을 ‘2022년도 인천시 청소년대상 수상자’로 선정했다.

최고의 영예인 대상(大賞)에는 평소 긍정적인 생각과 적극적인 태도로 모범적인 학교생활을 하고 있는 인천청인학교 3학년 김영광 군이 선정됐다.

김영광 군은 신체적 어려움에도 지역사회 오케스트라단의 단원으로 활동하면서 도전과 참여 정신이 우수하여 또래의 귀감이 된다는 점에서 심사위원으로부터 좋은 점수를 받았다.

효행부문에는 바쁘신 부모님을 대신해 집안일을 돌보고 다른 학생들을 배려하는 등 가정과 학교생활에 귀감이 된 백령중학교 2학년 최주희 양이 선정됐으며, 선행부문은 코로나19 상황에도 주말을 이용하여 폐지 줍는 어르신을 위한 ‘폐지 분류 활동’, 다중이용시설 소독 활동, 친환경 자원순환을 위한 ‘양말과 목재로 안마봉 만들기’ 등 선행을 실천한 용현여자중학교 3학년 이예인 양이 선정됐다.
