(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청 서해5도특별경비단(이하 서특단, 단장 김종인) 3005함이 18일 3005함 헬기테크에서 김종인 서특단장이 참석한 가운데, 함정의 원팀(ONE-team) 정신 제고를 위한 함훈(艦訓) 선포식을 개최 했다. 

자체투표를 통해 함정 승조원의 스스로의 손으로 지정한 함훈은 “3005만큼, 사랑海, 안전海, 든든海”로 장기간의 출동 중 망망대해에서 기댈 것은 서로밖에 없으므로 가족처럼 승조원 서로가 사랑하자는 의미,  드넓은 대양에서 국민의 해양안전을 빈틈없이 지키겠다는 의미, 서해 최북단 해역의 해상주권 수호자로서, 철통같은 주권수호의 의미 등 3005함의 주요 임무 수행의 다양한 의미를 모두 함축적으로 담아 지정하게 됐다. 
  
해양경찰청 함정에서, 함훈까지 제정하며 하나된 정신을 강조하는  경우는 극히 드문 경우로, 하나된 팀워크를 향한 3005함 승조원 총원의 결연한 의지가 돋보이는 대목이라 할 수 있다.

 
3005함 함장 조원배 경정은 30년 넘게 제주부터 서해까지 다양한 바다와 경비·구조분야를 경험한 뼛속까지 해양경찰 DNA를 갖고 있는 해양경찰으로, “원팀이 되어, 불법외국어선은 엄단하고 해양사고에는 국민을 위해 즉각대응하는, 해양주권수호의 파수꾼으로 최선을 다하자”고 말하며, 승조원과 결의를 다졌다.

 
김종인 서특단장은 “칠흑같은 어둠의 바다에서 이루어지는 중국어선 나포작전에서 믿을 수 있는 것은 바로 옆 동료임을 언제나 인식하고, 오늘 선포한 함훈처럼 서로를 아끼며, 국민의 해양안전지킴이자, 해상주권의 수호자로서 사명을 빈틈없이 수행하길 바란다”고 당부했다.
