(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 17일부터 민관 거버넌스 기구인 ‘부천시 지속가능발전협의회’에서 활동할 위원을 공개 모집한다.

모집 기간은 8월 17일부터 31일까지 15일간이며, 공고일 기준 부천시에 주소 또는 사업장을 두고 있으며 지속가능발전 분야에 지식과 경험이 풍부한 시민단체 회원, 기업체 임직원 및 전문가, 지속가능발전 분야에 관심이 있는 지역주민이라면 누구나 지원할 수 있다.

지원자는 부천시청 홈페이지 부천소식에서 관련 서식을 내려받아 작성하여 부천시 정책기획과 기획1팀으로 방문 또는 우편, 팩스, 이메일을 통해 제출하면 된다.

위원으로 선정되면 9월 창립총회를 통해 위촉되며 4개 분과(▲연구·평가 ▲환경 ▲경제 ▲사회)에 편입돼 2년간 활동한다.

지속가능발전협의회는 다양한 분야의 정책설정 및 수립을 위한 민관 거버넌스 기구로, 부천에서도 2000년 ‘푸른부천만들기21’ 설립을 시작으로 협의회가 운영되어왔으나 지난 2016년 운영이 중단된 바 있다.

부천시는 시민주권정신을 민선 8기 시정 전반에 반영하고 부천시 지속가능발전목표 수립·실천의 효율적 추진을 도모하고자 ‘부천시 지속가능발전협의회’복원을 추진하고 있다.

조용익 부천시장은 “민·관 거버넌스 기구인 ‘부천시 지속가능발전협의회’가 시민들의 의견을 수렴할 수 있는 소통창구 역할을 해줄 것으로 기대하고 있다”면서 “다양한 분야와 계층의 시민단체, 전문가, 시민들로 구성하여 시민 전체의 목소리를 시정에 담아내는 기구로 운영될 수 있도록 지원해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 부천시에서는 위원 모집에 대한 설명회를 8월 25일 오후 3시에 시청 소통마당에서 개최할 예정이다.
