(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천부평경찰서와 부평구가 그동안 두 기관의 협업으로 진행되었던 ‘의사소통 도움 그림판(이하 AAC도구)’이 완성됨에 따라 도구의 효율적인 사용을 논의하기 위해 지난 26일 부평구청 참여방(4층, 신관)에서 간담회를 진행했다. 
 

이번에 제작된 ‘의사소통 도움 그림판(성범죄·폭력범죄)’은 AAC개념(대화가 어려운 이의 말을 보완·대체하는 모든 소통방법)을 젠더폭력 및 각종 학대 등 범죄에 접목하여 약 6개월간의 내용 연구 끝에 제작됐다.
 

특히, 범죄사실에 대해 말하기 어려운 아동, 청소년, 장애인, 외국인 등에 위 AAC도구를 제공하면 이용자가 해당 그림을 손으로 가리키는 방법으로 소통하여 범죄 피해확인 및 예방이 가능하도록 고안됐다.
 

간담회에 참석한 부평경찰서 관계자는 ‘이번에 제작된 AAC도구를 초동 조치 시 활용, 인지·대응 능력이 부족한 장애인, 외국인, 아동 등 사회적약자 대상 범죄를 신속히 확인하고 가해자 엄정조치를 비롯하여 적극적으로 피해자 보호·지원하겠다.’고 밝혔다,

또, 부평구청 관계자는 “의사소통 도움 그림판을 관내 여성권익증진시설 및 부평구 청소년성문화센터 등 전문 유관기관에 배포, 아동·청소년을 비롯한 사회적약자 상대 범죄 피해상담 및 범죄예방 교육자료로 활용하도록 하는 등 유관기관과의 협업을 통해 지역사회 내 촘촘한 안전망을 형성하여 보다 안전한 부평을 조성하도록 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
