(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 지난 28일 정책연구모임‘혜윰’경연대회를 개최했다.

순 우리말로 ‘생각’이라는 뜻의 ‘혜윰’은 인천시 공무원들로 구성된 자율적, 자발적인 정책연구모임으로 2019년 처음 시작돼, 올해는 시, 군‧구 25개 팀 152명으로 구성돼 시의 주요정책 및 조직문화 개선 등다양한 과제의 연구 활동을 해왔다.

토론, 자료조사, 전문가 자문 등 연구활동으로 시정 발전을 위한 다양한 정책제안이 발굴됐으며, 이날 최종 경연대회를 통해 1, 2차 심사로 선정된 10개 과제의 순위가 결정됐다.

이번 경연대회에서도 우수한 아이디어들이 제안돼 눈길을 끌었다.

그 중 최우수상을 수상한 서해 5도 국제명소화를 위한 연구인 ‘인천의 보물섬, 시민에게 가까이 하기’는 백령도, 대청도, 소청도, 연평도, 소연평도의 서해 5도 명소화를 위한 제안으로 각 섬의 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 콘텐츠를 제시해 활용성 면에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

이 밖에 ‘인천형 자율주행차 기반 구축’, ‘식품안전 지식재산권(특허) 확보’, ‘인천 브랜드가치 제고 방안’, ‘공직사회 업무 프로세스 개선’ 등 다양한 분야의 정책 아이디어들이 소개됐다.

이번 경연대회에서는 정책 제안의 공유와 자발적 연구모임 활성화를 위해 모든 공무원들이 경연대회에 참관할 수 있도록 했으며, 우수과제로 선정된 제안들은 향후 정책에 반영될 예정이다.
