(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대학교 산업지능연구팀(지도교수 김관호)이 지난 23일 한국산업경영시스템학회와 디지털트윈 포럼에서 주관한 제2회 디지털트윈 서비스 아이디어 경진대회(일반/대학원 부문)에서 대상 (한국국토정보공사(LX) 사장상)을 수상했다도 밝혔다.

인천대에 따르면, 이는 최근 다양한 산업 분야에서 주목받고 있는 디지털트윈을 활용한 서비스 아이디어 공모로 연구팀 소속의 김수희, 김종은(이하 석사과정), 조연성(학부과정), 이동훈(박사과정) 연구원은 캠퍼스 건물 부하 만족 및 에너지 비용 절감을 위한 심층 강화학습 기반의 다중냉동기 운영 의사결정 모델 및 시뮬레이터를 개발했다.

또한, 실제 캠퍼스 냉방 시스템을 모사한 시뮬레이터를 환경으로 구성해 모델과 상호 작용하며 학습을 진행했고, 냉방 시스템을 모니터링 할 수 있는 시뮬레이터 시각화 프로그램을 개발하여 실제 시스템의 운영에 도움이 될 수 있도록 했다.

제안한 모델은 실제 인천대학교 캠퍼스의 냉방 시스템의 운영을 목표로 했으며 나아가 캠퍼스의 실제 운영에 적용하여 냉방 에너지 절감에 큰 도움을 줄 것으로 연구팀은 기대하고 있다.

한편, 이번 대상을 수상한 연구팀은 산업통상자원부의 산업혁신인재성자지원사업인 산업인공지능전문인력양성사업을 통해 산업인공지능에 특화된 석·박사 전문인력으로 성장하고 있다.
