(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천창조경제혁신센터가 2일 제4대 센터장에 이한섭 전 KT 기업부문 본부장이 최종 선임됐다고 밝혔다.

인천창조경제혁신센터에 따르면, 지난 9월 19일부터 10월 4일까지 센터장 공개 모집을 실시했으며, 센터장 추천위원회의 서류 및 면접심사와 이사회 의결을 거친 후 지난 11월 29일 중소벤처기업부 장관의 승인을 얻어 제4대 센터장을 선임했다.

이한섭 신임 센터장은 “중소벤처기업부와 인천시, 그리고 전담기업인 KT, 한진과의 지속적인 소통과 협업을 통해 인천창조경제혁신센터가 초격차 글로벌 스타트업 육성의 창업 허브가 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.

한편, 이번 선임된 이한섭 센터장은 연세대학교 전자공학 박사학위를 취득했으며, KT커머스 대표이사와 KT 글로벌/기업부문 본부장 등을 거치며 신사업, B2B/글로벌사업, 네트워크 및 플랫폼사업 등 다양한 업무를 수행했다.
