(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 12일 여자볼링선수단이 지난 5월 31일부터 6월 8일까지 9일간 경북 상주에서 열린 제24회 한국실업볼링연맹회장기 전국실업볼링대회에서 은메달 1개와 동메달 3개를 따내는 쾌거를 거뒀다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이번 대회는 단체전 2·3·5인조와 개인전 및 마스터즈 부문으로 진행됐으며 부평구청 여자볼링선수단은 여자부 2인조와 3인조, 개인종합에서 각각 3위에 올랐으며, 여자부 마스터즈 부문에서 이정민 선수가 2위를 차지했다.

한편, 이번 대회에서 모두 4개의 메달을 딴 이정민선수는 지난 3월 전국  대회에서도 마스터즈부문 은메달을 따낸 데 이어 이번 대회에서도 마스터즈 부문에서 은메달을 따내면서 그 실력을 다시 한 번 입증했다.

이정민 선수는 “우리 선수단이 전국 대회에서 꾸준히 좋은 성적을 내고 있다”며 “이 좋은 분위기를 계속 이어 다음 대회에서도 메달을 딸 수 있도록 최선을 다 하겠다”고 말했다.
