(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대학교가 19일 사격부 이승훈(체육학부2)선수가 최근 열린‘2023 국제사격연맹(ISSF) 쥴 주니어 월드컵사격대회’에서 남자 단체전 ‘금메달’과 혼성전 ‘은메달’을 획득했다고 밝혔다.

인대에 따르면,  이승훈은 지난 1~8일 독일 쥴에서 열린 ISSF 쥴 주니어 월드컵 사격대회에 정종윤(동명대), 홍석진(한국체대)과 함께 속사권총 단체전에 한국 대표로 출전하여 기존 1717점보다 11점 높은 1728점으로 신기록을 세우며 금메달을 획득했다. 

아울러, 이승훈은 전수진(충북보건과학대)과 함께 25M 혼성 스탠다드 권총 종목에도 출전해 은메달을 목에 걸었다. 

이승훈은 “국제대회에서 좋은 성적을 낼 수 있어서 매우 기쁘다”며, “앞으로 대학의 명예를 높이고 개인 기록 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.

한편, 이승훈은 2022 ISSF 카이로 세계라이플선수권대회 속사권총 6위, 제103회 전국체육대회 속사권총 2위에 오르는 등 국내외 대회에서 두각을 나타내고 있다.
