(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 한국농수산식품유통공사가 지난 22일 김춘진 사장이 서울 양재동 aT센터에서 열린 ‘제18회 원예산업정책토론회’에 참석해 축사를 하고, 농업 유관기관 및 학계 관계자 등과 함께 대한민국 원예산업 발전 방안에 대해 논의했다고 밝혔다. 

공사에 따르면,  현장에서 김 사장은 “원예산업을 비롯한 우리 농업은 농업인구 감소와 고령화로 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다”라며, “오늘 이 자리에서 토의된 구체적인 논의를 바탕으로 무한한 가능성을 지닌 수출 유망분야인 원예산업의 발전을 바란다”라고 전했다. 이어, “앞으로 공사도 네덜란드와 같은 농수산식품 1,000억 달러 수출 강국으로 도약할 수 있도록 더욱 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다. 

한편, 김 사장은 지난 20일 사단법인 ‘가정을 건강하게 하는 시민의 모임’ 20주년 기념식에서 건강한 가정과 사회를 만드는 데 기여한 공로를 인정받아 감사패를 받았다.
