(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 수도권매립지관리공사가 지난 17일 하절기 재난안전관리계획의 일환으로 여름철 풍수해 대비 기관장 현장 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

공사에 따르면, 주요 점검내용은 매립지 내 저지대 상습침수구역, 제3-1매립장, 침출수처리장 등 국가핵심기반시설 대상으로 제방사면, 우수유출구 및 배수로 등 우수배제시설 관리상태와 침수 예방 대책 마련이다.

송병억 수도권매립지관리공사 사장은 “장마철, 집중호우 및 태풍 등 여름철 풍수해 대비를 철저히 하여 수도권 폐기물을 안정적으로 처리하고 국민 생활에 불편함이 없도록 매립지 기능 유지에 최선을 다하겠다“고 밝혔다.

한편, 수도권매립지관리공사는 ‘하절기 재난안전관리계획’과 함께 수해폐기물을 안정적으로 처리하기 위한 ‘수해폐기물 매립 및 우기철 매립장 관리 대책’을 마련해 시행하고 있다.
