(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 관세청 인천공항본부세관이 지난 9일 개청 75주년을 맞아 수출입통관청사에서 직원들과 유관기관 임직원 등이 참석한 가운데 기념식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.
인천공항세관에 따르면, 이날 행사에서 김종호 본부세관장은 기념사를 통해 1949년 개청 이래 대한민국을 대표하는 세관으로 성장한 오늘에 이르기까지 헌신을 아끼지 않은 전현직 직원들에게 감사의 마음을 전하며, “안전한 사회를 만들기 위해 관세국경에서 마약 단속에 모든 역량을 집중하고 마약 범죄 예방을 위한 활동에도 노력할 것과, 경제활력 제고를 위해 현장의 의견을 반영하여 규제개선 등 스마트혁신과 지원방안 마련에 최선을 다해 줄 것”을 당부했다.

이날 기념식에서는 관세행정 발전에 기여한 20개 유관업체 임직원과 우수공무원 18명에 대한 표창도 함께 이뤄졌다.
이와 함께, 인천공항세관 마약근절 홍보대사 김승혜씨가 참석해 개청 75주년 축하와 함께 마약 차단을 위해 노력하는 직원들에게 감사와 격려의 메시지를 전하고, ‘인천공항세관 어린이 그림 그리기 대회’에서 우수 작품으로 선정된 어린이에 대한 시상 및 전시회를 진행하는 등 다채로운 행사를 통해 축하의 시간을 가졌다.
