(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 중부지방해양경찰청이 지난 19일 인천 소재 덕적도 인근해상과 영종도항.포구에서 관계기관이 합동으로 밀항 등 국경범죄 예방을 위한 실제 기동훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

중부해경청에 따르면, 이번 훈련은 중부해경청에서 주관하여, 육군 17사단과 해군 2함대사령부 군(軍) 관계자와 왕산레저개발, 현대요트 등 민·관·군이 합동하여 실전을 방불케하는 훈련으로 실시했다.

중부해경청은 요즘 조직적으로 다변화되고 있는 국경범죄 사건을 대비하여, 상황 발생시 신속하고 정확한 대응을 위한 관계기관과의 유기적 공조와 협력 능력을 높이는 목적으로 실시했다고 설명했다.

특히, 실제상황과 최대한 유사하도록 불시에 미상의 선박을 이용해 외해로 도주하는 상황과 육상에서는 밀항 알선책들이 은신도주하고 이를 경·군이 포착부터 검거 되는지를 확인하였다. 

훈련중 중점점검은 첩보의 입수.분석.검증, 상황전파 와 레이더, 열상장비(TOD) 운용 등 장비활용능력, 수색.검거.조사, 임무의 적절성과 숙지 등 단계별 조치사항이 숙달 이행되는지를 점검했다.

훈련에 참가한 군관계자는“사전 정보 없이 불시에 훈련이 진행되어 매우 긴장감이 높았으며, 수색, 검거, 조사까지 기관들과의 원활한 공조협력이 잘되어 실효성 있는 훈련이었다.”고 평가했다.

중부해경청 관계자는“최근 해상을 통해 경제사범들이 국외도피 시도와 외국인의 불법체류자가 증가하는 추세로 국경범죄 예방.단속을 위해 민.관.군의 대응 협력체계를 강화할 방침이다.”며,“밀항ㆍ밀입국 등 관련자나 의심선박을 신고시 최대 1000만원의 신고포상금을 지급하고 있으니 적극적인 신고를 당부 드린다.”고 밝혔다.
