(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구의회(의장 신정숙)가 지난 25일부터 12월 18일까지 총 24일간 일정으로 제257회 제2차 정례회를 개회했다고 밝혔다.

계양구의회에 따르면, 이번 정례회에서는 구정연설, 구정질문 등과 더불어 2025연도 예산안 및 2024년도 제3회 추가경정예산안을 포함하여 조례안 11건, 규칙안 1건, 예산안 3건, 동의안 5건, 기타 6건 등 총 26건의 안건 등이 처리된다.

주요 일정으로는 11월 25일 개회식을 시작으로 26일부터 28일까지 조례안 및 2024년도 제3회 추가경정예산안 등 심사, 29일 제2차 본회의 안건처리, 12월 2일부터 17일까지 상임위원회별 2025년도 예산안 및 기금운용계획안을 심사한 뒤 12월 18일 제3차 본회의 안건처리를 끝으로 제2차 정례회가 모두 마무리된다. 

신정숙 의장은 “이번 정례회는 내년도 우리 구 살림을 위한 2025년도 본예산을 심의하는 중요한 자리로서, 목표와 방향은 잘 설정되었는지 민생 현장의 목소리가 예산안에 잘 반영되어 꼭 필요한 곳에 예산이 편성되었는지 등 꼼꼼하고 세심하게 살펴달라”며 “앞으로도 우리 계양구의회는 여러 어려운 여건 속에서도 침착하게 제 역할을 다 해내며 구민의 안전과 행복을 위해 헌신하는 참된 지방의회의 모습을 보여드릴 것 ”이라고 밝혔다.
