(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 지난 28일 구청 대회의실에서 ‘아동권리 및 아동학대예방 교육’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면, 이날 교육은 구 직원 및 아동위원, 아동지킴이, 지역 내 아동시설 종사자 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 한국청소년센터 대표 원은정 강사가 진행했다.

강의 내용은 영화로 만나는 아동권리, 아동학대 및 아동권리 침해 사례와 대응방법 등으로 구성됐다.

특히, 이번 교육은 구 직원뿐만 아니라 아동과 가장 가까이에서 소통하는 이들이 참여해 지역사회 전반에 아동 권리를 존중하는 공감대를 확산하는 계기가 됐다.

부평구 관계자는 “현장에서 아동권리 실현을 위해 헌신해 주시는 많은 분께 감사드린다”며 “아동이 존중받고 행복한 아동친화도시 부평구를 만들기 위해 한 번 더 생각하고 한발 더 나아가도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

한편, 부평구는 지난 18일 유니세프 아동친화도시 인증 최종 대면심의를 마치고, 인증 발표를 앞두고 있다.

또한, 부평구가 이날 청소년복합문화센터에서 ‘2024년도 5060 부평인생학교 총동문회’를 성황리에 마쳤다고 밝혔다. 

부평구에 따르면, 올해 진행된 5060 부평인생학교의 마무리로 열린 이날 총동문회에는 차준택 구청장을 비롯해 인생학교 수료생 등 80여 명이 참석했다.

참석자들이 올해 진행된 부평인생학교의 주요 프로그램 활동 영상을 시청하는 것으로 행사가 시작됐다. 

이어 기념촬영, 인생학교 동아리의 축하공연, 내년에 새롭게 개편되는 5060 부평인생학교 시즌2의 달라지는 사항 안내 순으로 이어졌다.

지난 2018년부터 운영된 ‘5060 부평인생학교’는 구의 중장년 맞춤형 평생교육 프로그램으로, 제2의 인생을 준비하는 5060세대(50세~69세)가 평생학습을 기반으로 은퇴 후의 삶을 설계할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.

현재까지 11기수 298명의 수료생을 배출했고, 수료생들은 학습동아리· 동문회 운영·지역평생교육활동가 활동 등 학습실천 공동체로서 지역사회에 나눔을 실천하는 좋은 본보기가 되고 있다.

차준택 구청장은 “내년 개편되는 5060 부평인생학교 시즌2는 성인진로교육에 집중해, 인생의 전환점을 맞이한 부평구민이 개인의 역량을 강화하고 사회활동에 성공적으로 참여할 수 있도록 할 것”이라며 “인생학교 수료생 스스로 풍요로운 삶을 만들어가도록 인생학교 시즌2 개편에 심혈을 기울이겠다”고 말했다.

Bupyeong-gu announced that it held ‘Children’s Rights and Child Abuse Prevention Education’ in the district office conference room on the 28th.

This was followed by a commemorative photo, a congratulatory performance by the Life School club, and an announcement of changes to Season 2 of the 5060 Bupyeong Life School, which will be reorganized next year.

The ‘5060 Bupyeong Life School’, which has been in operation since 2018, is a customized lifelong education program for middle-aged and older adults in the district. It supports the 5060 generation (ages 50-69) preparing for their second life to design their lives after retirement based on lifelong learning.

As of now, 298 graduates have graduated from 11 classes, and the graduates are serving as good examples of sharing in the local community as a learning practice community through activities such as learning clubs, alumni associations, and local lifelong education activists.

Mayor Cha Jun-taek said, “The 5060 Bupyeong Life School Season 2, which will be reorganized next year, will focus on adult career education so that Bupyeong residents who are at a turning point in their lives can strengthen their personal capabilities and successfully participate in social activities.” He added, “We will devote our heart and soul to the reorganization of Life School Season 2 so that Life School graduates can create rich lives on their own.”
