(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 법무부 인천서부보호관찰소가 3일, 인천서부․계양경찰서 소속 학교전담경찰관(SPO)을 초청해 소년보호관찰대상자의 재범방지 및 학교 폭력 예방을 위한 실무자 협의회를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

인천서부보호간찰소에 따르면, 이날 학교폭력 예방 실무협의회에서는 인천서부보호관찰소 소년 담당 보호관찰관과 인천서부경찰서 및 계양경찰서 소속 학교폭력 전담 경찰관 등 12명이 참석했다.  

이번 실무회의는 학교폭력 및 청소년 비행과 범죄예방을 위해 실무자 간 정보 공유, 위기청소년 선도와 보호지원 등 상호 협력이 필요한 부분, 중⋅고등학교에 재학 중인 보호관찰 청소년에 대한 효율적인 지도 방안과 이들의 지역사회 내 일탈행위와 범죄유발 요인에 대한 계도와 순찰 등 범죄예방 활동을 더욱 강화하기로 했다.

또한, 초·중·고등학교에 재학 중인 보호관찰 대상자에 대한 맞춤식 지도를 위해 교사를 특별보호관찰위원으로 위촉하여 상담 지도를 하는 것에 머물지 않고 지역 학교전담경찰관(SPO)을 ‘특별보호관찰위원’으로 위촉하여 보호관찰 처분을 받은 학생과 1:1 멘토링을 통해 재범 방지를 위한 실효성 있는 범죄예방 활동을 펼쳐 나갈 예정이다.  

김동민 인천서부보호관찰소장은 인사말에서 “이번 협의회를 통해 경찰과의 긴밀한 협력 체계를 더욱 강화하고, 소년보호관찰 대상자의 교내외 폭력과 다양한 일탈적 행위에 대해 서로 정보를 공유하여 안전한 인천을 만드는데 최선을 다해 달라”고 말했다.

The Incheon West Probation Office of the Ministry of Justice announced on the 3rd that it invited school police officers (SPO) from Incheon West and Gyeyang Police Stations to hold a working-level meeting to prevent recidivism and school violence for juvenile probationers.

According to the Incheon West Probation Office, 12 people attended the school violence prevention working-level meeting that day, including probation officers in charge of juveniles from the Incheon West Probation Office and school violence police officers from Incheon West Police Station and Gyeyang Police Station.

This working meeting decided to further strengthen crime prevention activities such as sharing information among practitioners, guiding and supporting at-risk youth, and providing effective guidance for juvenile probationers attending middle and high schools, and guiding and patrolling the deviant behaviors and crime-causing factors in the community in order to prevent school violence, juvenile delinquency, and crime.
