(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청북구도서관이 6일, 시민들의 글쓰기 역량 강화와 읽걷쓰 독서문화 활성화를 위해 ‘작가와 7주 에세이 쓰기’ 프로그램을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

북구도서관에 따르면, 2025년 시민저자학교 1기 과정으로 운영되는 이번 프로그램은 2월 21일부터 4월 4일까지 매주 금요일 오후 7시부터 9시까지 북구도서관 겨울 강의실에서 진행되며 교직원, 학부모 등 인천시민 누구나 참가 신청할 수 있다.

‘작가와 7주 에세이 쓰기’는 글쓰기 초보자부터 체계적인 글쓰기를 원하는 시민을 위한 프로그램으로, 소재 선정부터 퇴고까지 단계별 과정을 배우고 공동 에세이 문집 출판에도 참여할 수 있다.

강의는‘에세이 써 볼까?’ 저자인 김도현 작가가 참가자들에게 맞춤형 피드백을 제공하며, 수강생들은 과정이 끝난 후에도 지속적인 글쓰기 활동을 이어갈 수 있도록 글쓰기 동아리 활동과 연계될 예정이다.

Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Buk-gu Library announced on the 6th that it will operate the ‘7-week Essay Writing with Writers’ program to strengthen citizens’ writing skills and promote reading culture.

According to Buk-gu Library, this program, which will be operated as the first course of the 2025 Citizen Author School, will be held every Friday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Buk-gu Library Winter Lecture Room, and any Incheon citizen, including faculty, staff, and parents, can apply to participate.

‘7-week Essay Writing with a Writer’ is a program for those who are beginners in writing and those who want to write systematically. They can learn the step-by-step process from selecting materials to editing and participate in publishing a joint essay collection.

The lecture will be provided by Kim Do-hyun, the author of ‘Shall I Write an Essay?’, who will provide customized feedback to participants, and the students will be connected to writing club activities so that they can continue writing activities even after the course ends.
