(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 17일, 웹툰융합센터에서 오는 3월 27일부터 6월 26일까지 매월 한 차례씩, 총 네 차례에 걸쳐 ‘부천스토리텔링아카데미’ 워크숍이 진행된다고 밝혔다.

부천시에 따르면, 제1회 워크숍에서는 최근 개봉한 화제작 ‘미키 17’의 원작 소설 ‘미키7’을 중심으로 SF 장르의 리얼리티와 스토리텔링 기법에 대한 강의가 진행된다. 

강의 후에는 최시한 아카데미 원장과 최배은 대표 강사 등 전문가와의 질의응답 및 피드백 시간을 마련해 참가자들이 스토리텔링 역량을 키울 수 있도록 지원한다.

이번 워크숍은 별도 신청 없이 스토리텔링에 관심 있는 누구나 참여할 수 있다. ‘부천스토리텔링아카데미’ 졸업생은 물론, 창작을 처음 접하는 입문자부터 경험이 있는 창작자까지 모두가 함께할 수 있어 스토리텔링을 배우고자 하는 이들에게 열린 배움의 장이 될 것으로 기대된다.

문화정책과 황승욱 과장은 “스토리텔링은 다양한 분야에서 활용될 수 있는 핵심 요소”라며 “이번 워크숍을 통해 참가자들이 창작의 즐거움을 느끼고 스토리텔링 역량을 키우길 바란다”고 말했다.

‘부천스토리텔링아카데미’는 부천시가 2022년부터 운영하는 창작 교육 프로그램으로, 제1기부터 제3기까지 총 44명의 졸업생을 배출했다. 

오는 9월에는 제4기 과정이 개강할 예정이다.

‘2025 1st Bucheon Storytelling Academy Workshop’ to be held

Bucheon City announced on the 17th that the ‘Bucheon Storytelling Academy’ workshop will be held once a month for a total of four times from March 27 to June 26 at the Webtoon Convergence Center.

According to Bucheon City, the 1st workshop will focus on the original novel ‘Mickey 7’ of the recently released hit ‘Mickey 17’ and lectures on the reality and storytelling techniques of the SF genre.

After the lecture, there will be a Q&A and feedback session with experts such as Academy Director Choi Si-han and representative instructor Choi Bae-eun to support participants in developing their storytelling skills.

Anyone interested in storytelling can participate in this workshop without a separate application. It is expected to be an open learning space for those who want to learn storytelling, as not only graduates of the ‘Bucheon Storytelling Academy’ but also beginners who are new to creation and experienced creators can all participate.

Cultural Policy Division Manager Hwang Seung-wook said, “Storytelling is a key element that can be utilized in various fields,” and added, “I hope that through this workshop, participants will feel the joy of creation and develop their storytelling skills.”

The ‘Bucheon Storytelling Academy’ is a creative education program operated by Bucheon City since 2022, and has produced a total of 44 graduates from the 1st to 3rd classes.

The 4th class is scheduled to open in September.
