(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 오는 5월 13일까지 농어촌 지역에서 창업과 정착을 준비하는 청년들을 위한 ‘2025 인천 농어촌 청년 역량강화 프로그램 지원’ 사업의 참여자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 이번 사업은 섬발전지원센터가 주관하며, 인구 감소가 심화되고 있는 인천 농어촌 지역의 지속 가능한 발전을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다. 

농어촌에서 창업하거나 정착하려는 청년들에게 실질적인 도움을 제공하고자, 창업 관련 전문가의 멘토링과 선진사례 답사 등 실무 중심의 프로그램으로 구성됐다.

모집 대상은 인천 관내 농어촌 지역에 거주 중이거나 정착을 희망하는 18세 이상 39세 이하의 청년이며, 옹진군의 경우 ‘옹진군 청년기본조례’에 따라 49세까지 신청할 수 있다. 

선발 인원은 20명 내외이며, 이들은 오는 6월과 11월에 진행되는 워크숍과 현장 답사에 참여하게 된다. 

우수 수료자에게는 별도의 시상도 진행된다.

신청 접수는 4월 23일부터 5월 13일까지 온라인으로 진행되며, 자세한 사항은 인천청년포털 ‘인천유스톡톡’ 또는 인천섬발전지원센터 공식 누리집을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

인천시는 모집 연령, 참여동기, 농어촌 발전에 대한 의지 등을 종합적으로 평가해 최종 지원 대상을 선정할 계획이며, 결과는 5월 중 발표될 예정이다.

Incheon City announced that it is recruiting participants for the ‘2025 Incheon Rural Youth Capacity Building Program Support’ project for youth preparing to start a business and settle down in rural areas until May 13.

According to Incheon City, this project is hosted by the Island Development Support Center and was created to promote sustainable development in Incheon’s rural areas where population decline is severe.

It consists of a practical program centered on mentoring by startup experts and field trips to advanced cases to provide practical help to youth seeking to start a business or settle down in rural areas.

The target of the recruitment is young people aged 18 to 39 who live in or wish to settle in rural areas within Incheon. In the case of Ongjin-gun, according to the ‘Ongjin-gun Youth Basic Ordinance’, applicants up to the age of 49 can apply.

Approximately 20 people will be selected, and they will participate in workshops and field trips held in June and November.

A separate award will be given to excellent graduates.
