(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 지난 13일 구청에서 민선8기 3년 차 공약이행평가를 위해 ‘부평구 공약이행평가단 1차 회의’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

부평구에 따르면,  이날 회의에서 6개 분야 70개 공약사항 추진 상황에 대한 이행평가를 위해 공약이행평가단의 역할, 평가 일정 및 절차, 방법 등을 안내했다. 또 공약이행평가에 필요한 기초자료도 전달했다.

특히, 부평구는 이날 한국매니페스토실천본부 이광재 사무총장을 강연자로 초빙해 공약사항의 이해와 체계적인 추진 방안, 이행평가 목적과 방법, 공약이행평가단의 역할 등의 주제로 특강을 실시했다.

이를 통해 공약이행평가단의 역량을 강화하고 보다 객관성 있는 평가가 이뤄질 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.

앞서 구는 지난해 7월 공개모집·공개추첨을 통해 총 35명의 공약이행평가단을 구성한 바 있다. 

이들은 민선8기 구청장 공약사항 실천계획 작성 및 확정, 공약사항 심의·조정, 부진사업에 대한 대안제시 등 공약이행에 대한 자문과 평가 역할을 수행하고 있다.

공약이행평가단은 이날 회의를 시작으로 오는 21일 공약 현장방문, 5월 26일∼6월 5일 분과별 회의를 진행한다. 

공약이행평가 시 도출된 건의 사항이나 의견은 공약 추진부서의 수정·보완 후 7월 3일에 열릴 민선8기 3년차 공약사항 추진상황 보고회에 반영될 예정이다.

차준택 구청장은 “구민과의 약속이 충실히 이행될 수 있도록 공약이행평가단의 역할이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “미흡한 부분은 지속적으로 보완해 민선8기 구민과의 약속 실현으로 새로운 미래로 도약하는 더 큰 부평을 만들겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 민선8기 구청장 공약사항은 미래로 도약하는 더 큰 부평, 함께 성장하는 경제부평, 모두가 행복한 복지부평, 구민과 공감하는 소통부평, 일상에 여유를 더하는 문화부평, 안전하고 편안한 안심부평의 6개 분야 70개 사업으로 구성돼 있다.

올해 3월 말 기준 공약 추진율은 85.2%로, 총 46개 사업이 완료돼 공약 이행 완료율은 65.7%이다.

Bupyeong-gu announced that it held the '1st Bupyeong-gu pledge implementation evaluation group meeting' at the district office on the 13th for the 3rd year of the 8th local government pledge implementation evaluation.
