(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천삼산경찰서 중앙지구대가 지난 17일 지역 내 어르신 등 사회적 약자 계층을 위한 짜장면 나눔 행사를 개최하고, 보이스피싱 ․ 교통사고 등 범죄예방 홍보 활동을 병행해 큰 호응을 얻었다.

삼산경찰서에 따르면,  이번 행사는 관내 어르신과 취약계층 주민들을 대상으로 따뜻한 한 끼를 제공하고, 더불어 범죄로부터 안전한 지역사회를 만들기 위해 경찰과 생활안전협의회의 노력의 일환으로 기획됐다. 

경찰관들과 민간협력단체 회원들은 직접 짜장면을 배식하며 주민들과 소통하고, 보이스피싱 수법 및 예방 요령, 교통사고 예방 수칙 등을 안내하는 홍보자료와 기념품을 함께 전달했다.

참석한 한 어르신은 “경찰서에서 이런 행사를 열어줘서 고맙다. 경찰관들이 친절하게 설명해줘서 보이스피싱이 뭔지도 잘 알게 됐다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.

중앙지구대는 매년 생활안전협의회와 협력해 이 같은 나눔 행사를 진행하고 있으며, 지역주민들의 체감안전도 향상과 지역사회 상호부조 문화 확산에 기여하고 있다.

유명종 중앙지구대장은 “앞으로도 협력단체와 지속적인 협력을 통해 주민들이 안전한 생활을 영위할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
