(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천신용보증재단 중부지점이 최근 동구 소상공인 및 경제 주체들과 동구 소상공인 경쟁력 향상 및 경제 활성화를 위해 ‘동구 소상공인종합지원 협의회(이하‘협의회)’ 출범 발대식 및 제1차 정기회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

재단 중부지점에 따르면, 협의회는 동구 소상공인 지원 사업을 진행하는 민·관·공 사업 주체들이 각기 다른 정책사업을 융합적으로 접근해, 각 기관의 지원 정책을 보완하고 개발 함으로써 지원 정책의 효과를 극대화하는 것을 주목적으로 하는 운영하는 자치구 유관기관 협의체이다. 

이번 발대식에는 인천신용보증재단 윤정미 지점장을 위원장으로 구성하고, 동구청 일자리경제과장, 동구 소재 단체인 동구 소상공인연합회, 현대시장 상인회, 재능대학교 산학협력팀과 금융기관은 농협은행 송림동지점, 신한은행 동구청지점을 포함한 7인의 전문가들이 모여 협의회 운영세칙 제정 등 심의를 통한 안건(1건)이 의결됐다. 

이주미 재능대학교 산학협력단장은 “2025년 로컬컨텐츠 중점대학으로 선정되어 현대시장 상인회와 연계하여, 재능대학교 학생들과 동구 소상공인 간 상생을 위해 노력하고 있다” 면서, “인천신용보증재단과 시중 은행 등 금융기관의 적극적인 참여를 통해 보다 효과적인 소상공인 지원 프로세스가 만들어지기를 희망한다”고 밝혔다.

이정희 동구청 일자리경제과장은 “형식적인 교육 프로그램만 개설하게 된다면, 현장에 있는 소상공인들에게 큰 도움이 될 수 없다”면서, “소상공인을 위해서는 민·관·공 경제주체 간 상호 협력을 통한 실질적인 지원정책이 필수적”으로, “동구 소상공인 종합지원 협의회를 통해 유관기관 간 융합적 네트워크 강화로 경쟁력 있는 소상공인 생태계 조성이 되길 희망한다”고 밝혔다.
