(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구의회 ‘서구 도시농업 활성화 연구회(대표 의원 김남원, 이하 연구회)’가 오는 14일 오후 2시, 서구청 대회의장에서 제4차 정기포럼을 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

서구의회에 따르면, 이번 정기포럼 주제는‘도시 속에 심는 마음, 치유와 회복으로 함께 자라는 우리’로 발제는 서울대학교 이성우 책임연구원이 맡는다. 

그동안 연구단체는 치유와 힐링의 도시농업 연구에 따른 자연친화, 환경회복 도시환경 조성을 주제로 연구 활동을 지속해 왔다. 

전국 우수사례 현장 견학 13회와 정책 연구용역 2건을 진행했고, 포럼과 세미나를 3차례 개최했다. 

이번 보고회는 그간의 왕성한 활동을 통해 얻어진 연구 성과의 최종 발표로 도시농업에 관심이 많은 구민들의 기대를 모으고 있다.

특히, 이번 행사는 부대 프로그램도 함께 열려 더욱 풍성하다. ‘도시농업으로 만드는 치유와 회복의 여정’ 연구활동 성과와 참여 기관의 치유농업 성공 사례 성과물도 함께 전시한다. 

이번 정기포럼에 대해 김남원 대표 의원은 “3년 동안의 단일 주제로 연구 활동을 해왔다”, “2023년 처음 활동 당시 의원님 그대로 열과 성의를 다해 동참해 주신 결과의 산물이다”며“사례 수집을 위해 전국뿐 아니라 우리 서구 사례 발굴도 소홀하지 않았기에 이 결과를 구민들께 소상히 알릴 수 있게 되어 더욱 기쁘다”고 강조했다.

한편, 이번 포럼은 정책 연구용역 결과 보고도 함께 이뤄지며, 이후 한차례 정례회 및 성과 공유회를 열어 최종 결과보고서를 채택해 3년간의 연구 활동을 마무리할 예정이다.
