(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 17일, 지역사회의 디지털 전환을 촉진하고 균형발전 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 과학기술정보통신부 국비지원 ‘스마트빌리지 보급 및 확산 사업’의 2027년도 공모에 대비한 조기 사업 발굴에 착수했다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 이 사업은 정보통신기술(ICT)을 활용하여 지역 현안을 해결하고 시민의 삶의 질을 높이는 스마트서비스를 구축하는 것이 핵심이다.

인천시는 사업의 이해도를 높이고 지속가능한 스마트서비스를 조기에 발굴하고자 지난 11일 14일 군·구 및 광역 사업부서를 대상으로 설명회를 개최했다. 

이번 설명회는 기본계획 기반의 지속가능한 스마트서비스 사업 추진을 목표로 스마트도시계획 연계 및 서비스 사례 공유, 사업지침 및 추진절차 공유, 이슈 분석을 통한 지역별 스마트서비스 제안 등을 주요 내용으로 다루며 디지털 혁신 활용 방안을 모색하는 자리로 마련됐다.

인천시는 이번 설명회를 시작으로 2027년 스마트빌리지 사업 서비스 발굴을 조기에 완료하고, 과기정통부의 사업공고 후 내년 2월까지 사업 신청을 마무리할 계획이다. 

공모에 최종 확정된 사업은 2026년 9월 정부 예산에 반영되어 2027년부터 본격적으로 착공에 들어간다.

인천시는 특히 각 지역 문제 해결을 위한 사업 발굴과 신속하고 효과적인 사업추진을 위해, 군·구를 포함한 광역 사업부서에 사업 기획부터 전 과정을 지원할 수 있는 전문 컨설팅을 전폭적으로 지원할 방침이다.

한편, 인천시는 2026년 스마트빌리지 사업으로 국비 153억 원을 지원받아 광역사업(6개), 군·구 특화사업(3개), 군·구 확산사업(3개)을 기획하고 있으며, 재원 배분은 보급사업은 국비 70%, 지방비 30%, 선도사업은 국비 80%, 지방비 20%로 투입된다.
