(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시 문화예술회관이 오는 7월 25일 오후 5시, 회관 대공연장에서 인천시립청소년교향악단의 창단연주회이자 제1회 정기연주회인 ‘IYPO, The New Wave’를 개최한다.

○‘음악 인재 육성의 요람’ 인천시립청소년교향악단 창단과 초대 상임지휘자 정한결

인천시립청소년교향악단은 청소년의 음악적 재능을 체계적으로 육성하고 지역의 미래 문화 기반을 다지기 위해 지난 3월 공식 창단됐다. 

초대 상임지휘자로 위촉된 정한결은 독일 국제 지휘자 콩쿠르에서 한국인 최초로 최종 결선 진출 및 3위와 청중상을 동시 수상한 실력파다. 

현재 인천시립교향악단 수석부지휘자로서 쌓아온 풍부한 경험을 바탕으로, 단원들과 호흡하며 오케스트라의 기틀을 다져오고 있다.

○‘The New Wave(더 뉴 웨이브)’로 일으키는 새로운 흐름

이번 무대는 창단 이후 집중적인 역량 강화 과정을 거친 단원들이 공식적으로 첫선을 보이는 자리다. 

창단연주회의 주제인 ‘The New Wave(더 뉴 웨이브)’는 인천시립청소년교향악단이 앞으로 만들어갈 새로운 흐름을 상징한다. 

차세대 클래식 연주자들이 인천의 미래를 이끌어갈 주역으로서 관객과 처음 교감하는 자리이자, 우리에게 익숙한 명곡들을 젊은 감각과 생동감 있는 해석으로 다시 만나는 무대라는 점에서 그 의미가 깊다.

이어지는 무대에서는 서울대학교 교수로 재직하며 독보적인 음악성과 깊이 있는 해석으로 주목받는 바이올리니스트 김다미가 협연자로 나서 멘델스존의 ‘바이올린 협주곡’을 선보인다. 

김다미의 깊은 음악성과 청소년교향악단 특유의 맑고 유연한 에너지가 만나 정통 클래식의 고전미를 신선한 호흡으로 재해석할 예정이다. 

대미를 장식할 브람스의 ‘교향곡 1번’은 장대한 구조와 깊은 서사를 지닌 작품으로, 전통의 무게에 도전하는 청소년 음악가들의 패기를 통해 본격적인 예술적 여정의 시작을 시민들에게 각인시킬 것이다.

○ 전석 무료 초대로 시민과 함께 나누는 클래식의 미래

인천시립청소년교향악단 관계자는 “인천의 청소년 음악 인재들이 그동안 갈고닦은 실력을 대중 앞에 공개하는 소중한 기회”라며, “내실 있는 연주력과 무한한 가능성을 동시에 확인할 수 있는 시간이 될 것”이라고 말했다.

이번 창단연주회는 전석 무료로 진행되며, 오는 6월 10일 오후 2시 인천문화예술회관 유료회원 선예매에 이어 6월 12일 오후 2시부터 일반예매가 시작된다. 

인천문화예술회관 누리집에서 1인 4매까지 사전 예약할 수 있으며, 초등학생 이상(2019년 포함 이전 출생자) 관람 가능하다.
